Merge PDF

PDF merge is the most commonly used PDFsam feature, and it allows you to combine PDF files.

Page ranges

PDF files can be combined in whole or in part. You can set a page selection in the form of comma-separated page ranges (for example, 1–10, 14–25), which lets you choose which pages you want to merge for each PDF file you add.

Bookmarks

Choose what to do with the PDF files’ bookmarks. You can combine them, get rid of them to make the merged file smaller, or make a new bookmarks tree with one entry for each of the merged PDF files.

AcroForms

Set what to do with AcroForms in the input PDF file when they are found. You can throw them away, but you can also combine them into a new form or merge them by changing the names of fields that have the same name.

Table of contents

Add a table of contents to the start of the PDF that is being made. You can easily move between the merged PDF files by clicking on items in a list.

Split PDF

With the Split module, you can split PDF files at certain page numbers or at page numbers you choose.

Split at predefined pages

The selected PDF file can be split after every page, making a new document for every page in the original file, or after every other or odd page.

Split specifying pages

Set the page numbers where you want your document to break. PDFSam lets you tell it to split the PDF every page if you want to.

Mix PDF

With the PDF mix module, you can combine two PDF files by taking pages from each one in either a straight or backwards order. If you have two documents with even pages and odd pages and you want to rebuild the original document, this is the best way to do it.

Rotate PDF

You can rotate PDF files with the Rotate module. All you have to do is choose the PDF files you want to rotate and rotate their pages by 90, 180, or 270 degrees.

Extract PDF pages

With the Extract module, you can take pages out of a PDF file. To make a new PDF file with only the pages you need, you can choose a single page or a range of pages.
