Mathematica installation steps
Step 1: Download the appropriate Mathematica version.
- The File Installation Key will be emailed to you after accepting the terms & conditions and starting the download process of the license file.
Step 2: Click next to continue
- Open the downloaded Wolfram Mathematica file
- Extract setup.exe and the .bin files to your Windows desktop
- Click on the setup.exe to start the installation process.
Step 3: Select installation destination
Step 4: Select optional Mathematica components
Step 5: Select the Start menu folder
Step 6: Click install to install software
Step 7: Delete setup.exe and .bin files from the desktop
Step 8: Finish
Mathematica Activate steps
- To activate Mathematica you will need to request an activation key by completing the wolfram activation key request form
- Either sign in with your Wolfram ID or Create Account if you haven’t already done so
- When creating a new account, please use your UCL email address
Step 2: Create a Wolfram ID
- Sign in with your Wolfram ID
- Fill in the Activation Key Request Form and select the product you wish to Activate. An Activation Key will now be displayed on the screen and emailed to you
Step 3: Wolfram Activation Key Request Form
- Run Mathematica.
- Input the Activation Key as provided in Step 2
Step 4: Wolfram Product Activation
- Accept the terms of the License Agreement
Step 5: License Agreement
- Mathematica is now activated and is ready for use
