The 2020 Democratic Presidential Primary Debate has taken place among candidates in the campaign for the Democratic Party’s nomination for the president of the United States in the 2020 presidential election.

Originally set for Phoenix in front of a live audience, the debate has been moved to CNN’s studios in Washington, DC, with no crowd and the traditional spin room and press filing center scrapped.
